Ogden House is a caring structured environment for youth in crisis to receive services.

This program serves youth ages 12-17 that are temporarily displaced from their families or are deemed a child in need of services (CHINS), not “juvenile delinquents.”   Staff work with youth daily in activities that will increase their knowledge of life skills including: chores, cooking, budgeting, and other independent living skills.  The youth also volunteer, receive counseling, crisis management and perform community service work, all while in the program and attend public schools to continue their educations.   Youth also undergo a TRIPP weekend during their stay.  Ogden House strives to maintain a home environment that has a structured atmosphere so that the children will be able to easily transition back with their families.  This program accepts referrals from the Juvenile Probation Office and families.

  • Youth are taught life skills as to make them "fully prepared" for future crises situations.
